About Us

We are a family centered homestead that got its start from an encounter with honeybees in 1996. A swarm of honeybees landed on a tree in our front yard. It was a mass of thousands of bees. The kids and I were fascinated. Little did I know that it would lead me to get honeybees of my own. I would sit for hours right outside the hive and watch as the honey bees came and went. I learned so much about the honeybee’s life cycle, and the benefits of bees in nature.
